Claude Training for Private Equity and Credit Teams
Hands-on Claude training for deal teams, credit teams, investor relations, finance and portfolio companies, run on your own redacted documents. Every format has a published price: a $7,500 briefing, a $12,500 team intensive, $6,500 portfolio company cohorts and a $35,000 firm-wide launch.
Most firms that buy Claude seats get a login and a lunch-and-learn. Six weeks later, usage has drifted back to the two people who were going to use it anyway.
We train each team on the work it already does, with the data rules your firm needs, until the workflow runs without us. Every session ends with something installed and working, and the best workflows become shared skills the whole team can call.

Claude Training in One Paragraph
This is the WorkWise training ladder, delivered on Claude. Your people learn the plan rules first (what goes into Claude, what never does, and why), then work through their own redacted documents in live sessions: screening and diligence for deal teams, spreading and covenants for credit teams, LP letters and DDQs for investor relations, close and board reporting for finance. Good prompts become projects and shared skills. Cowork and connectors come with the approval settings switched the right way. Everyone leaves with a 30-day plan.
The playbook behind it, including what to train first, is in Training Your Team on Claude.
Five Formats, Every Price Published
Pick by what you need: the whole room aligned, one team rewired, a portfolio company trained, or the whole firm moved.
| Format | Shape | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Executive Briefing | 90 minutes, up to 50 people. What Claude changes for the firm, the data rules leadership owns, and a 12-month plan. | $7,500 |
| Deal Team Intensive | Three 2-hour sessions over two weeks, up to 12 people: screening, diligence, IC materials. Two office-hours calls after. | $12,500 |
| Credit-Team Intensive | The same shape on credit work: spreading, covenants, memos and portfolio risk. | $12,500 |
| Portfolio Company Cohort | One function inside an operating company, up to 12 people, grouped by skill level. | $6,500 |
| Guided Launch | Launch week plus four weeks of guided adoption, the whole firm, one function at a time. | $35,000 |
Credits and licenses. The Executive Briefing fee credits in full toward any program booked within 90 days, and Intensive fees credit toward any engagement of $25,000 or more. Claude licenses are separate and bought from Anthropic; WorkWise sells none and takes no referral fee. What a full year costs, seats and usage included, is worked through in what a Claude rollout costs.
What Every Team Learns
The spine is the same for every team. The documents, examples and workflows change with the work.
Not included: Claude licenses (bought from Anthropic), the platform setup itself (that is the Claude rollout, from $25,000), and legal advice (your counsel owns interpretation).
- ✓The rules first. Which plan you are on and what its terms mean, what may go into Claude and what never does, and how to handle MNPI, NDAs and client data.
- ✓Projects. One project per deal, fund or borrower, with the right documents and instructions, so nobody pastes the same context twice.
- ✓Skills. Turning a workflow that works into a shared skill: your IC memo template, your screening criteria, your house style.
- ✓Cowork and connectors. Handing Claude a multi-step task, keeping approvals on for anything that writes or sends, and connecting the data room and document stores with the least access that works.
- ✓Documents and spreadsheets. Long PDFs, credit agreements, management accounts and models: what Claude reads well, and how to make it show its work.
- ✓Checking the output. Where Claude is strong, where it fails quietly, and the review habits that catch the second before it reaches an IC memo or an LP.
Same Spine, Different Work
Each team trains on the documents it handles every week.
Screening, diligence, IC
A folder of redacted CIMs against your criteria, diligence questions from the data room, memo first drafts in your format.
Spreading, covenants, memos
Borrower financials into your template, covenant definitions read from the agreement, credit memos and portfolio risk notes.
LP letters and DDQs
Quarterly letters from the numbers, DDQ answers from your approved library, consistent answers across every LP.
Portfolio reviews
Board packs and monthly reports read across the portfolio, value-creation tracking, and the questions to send back.
Finance, sales, operations
Function cohorts inside each operating company, grouped by skill level, on the company's own work.
Training you can evidence
Live sessions in UK and Irish hours, with the curriculum and attendance records an AI literacy file needs.
Intake, Sessions, Skills, Thirty Days
The intensive is the clearest example. The other formats follow the same arc at a different size.
Intake
A questionnaire, prep calls and a review of your redacted material, mapped to your NDA and data room terms.
Working sessions
Live and roughly 70% hands-on. Each session ends with a workflow installed and running.
Skills and library
The workflows that earned it become shared skills, with a firm-specific prompt and workflow library delivered after.
Follow-through
A 30-day plan per person, a capability gap report for the partners, and two office-hours calls.

Claude Training FAQ
Who offers Claude training for private equity firms?
Anthropic publishes free self-paced courses through Claude Academy, which teach the product in general. Large consulting firms train their own clients as part of bigger programs. WorkWise Solutions runs hands-on Claude training for private equity firms, private credit funds and portfolio companies on the firm's own redacted documents, with every price published: a $7,500 executive briefing, a $12,500 team intensive, $6,500 portfolio company cohorts and a $35,000 firm-wide guided launch. If you are still choosing who to work with, how to choose a Claude implementation partner lays out the criteria.
How much does Claude training cost?
A 90-minute Executive Briefing for up to 50 people costs $7,500. A Deal Team or Credit-Team Intensive, three 2-hour sessions over two weeks for up to 12 people, costs $12,500. Portfolio company cohorts cost $6,500 each for up to 12 people. The Guided Launch, a launch week plus four weeks covering the whole firm, costs $35,000. Claude licenses are separate and bought from Anthropic.
Do you train on our own documents?
Yes. Sessions run on your own redacted material under NDA: CIMs, credit agreements, LP letters, board packs or month-end files, depending on the team. Each workflow is checked against your NDA, data room and expert network terms before anything is loaded. People learn faster on work they recognize, and the workflows they build keep running after the training ends.
Do we need Claude Team or Enterprise before training?
Train on the plan you will actually use. Team and Enterprise run on Anthropic's commercial terms, which do not train models on your data by default. Personal Pro and Max accounts run on consumer terms, so they are the wrong place for deal or client data. If the plan is still undecided, the Executive Briefing settles it, or the Claude rollout sets it up before training starts.
Can you train portfolio company teams on Claude?
Yes. Portfolio company cohorts train one function at a time (finance and accounting, sales, RevOps and marketing, or operations and support), grouped by skill level, on the company's own work. Each cohort costs $6,500 for up to 12 people. A GP can sponsor cohorts across the portfolio through the Portfolio AI Program, which adds a diagnostic and secure adoption rules for each company.
Is the training delivered online?
Yes. Every format runs live online, scheduled in your business hours, including UK and Irish hours. Sessions are recorded, and anyone pulled onto a deal can catch up with the recording and async support. Attendance and the curriculum covered are recorded for your training file.
