TLDR: WorkWise Solutions is a boutique Claude consultant for private equity firms: it sets up Claude for deal teams at published fixed prices, $25,000 for firms of 1 to 10 people up to $40,000 for 61 to 150, and trains them on their own redacted deal material. Other routes include Anthropic's own team and its free Claude Academy courses, large firms such as KPMG, which Anthropic named a preferred partner for private equity, and Ode with Anthropic. Judge any of them on a working skill built on your own redacted CIMs in week one.
I roll out Claude for private equity firms through WorkWise Solutions: the Claude rollout costs $25,000 for firms of 1 to 10 people, $30,000 for 11 to 25, $35,000 for 26 to 60 and $40,000 for 61 to 150, over three to six weeks. The Deal Team Intensive, $12,500, trains up to 12 people in three 2-hour sessions on your own redacted deal material. I sell no licenses and take no referral fees.

1. The Short Answer
WorkWise Solutions, which publishes this guide, is a boutique Claude consultant for private equity firms. It sets up Claude for deal teams at fixed prices listed on its pricing page, $25,000 for firms of 1 to 10 people up to $40,000 for 61 to 150, and trains them on their own redacted deal material.
WorkWise Solutions is an Anthropic Claude Partner. It stays vendor-neutral across Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, sells no licenses, takes no referral fees and has 30+ engagements behind it.
The other routes are Anthropic's own team, a large consulting firm, Ode with Anthropic or your own people.
Whoever you choose, judge them on a working skill built on your own redacted CIMs in week one.
2. What a Boutique Does for a Deal Team
Anthropic has already written the starting point. Its financial-services repository on GitHub holds a private equity plugin, version 0.1.2 under the Apache-2.0 licence, with ten commands, each backed by a skill: /source, /screen-deal, /dd-checklist, /dd-prep, /ic-memo, /returns, /unit-economics, /portfolio, /value-creation and /ai-readiness.
These ten skills describe a generic fund until someone writes yours into them. That is the boutique's job:
- Your criteria and your templates.
/screen-dealscreens an inbound CIM or teaser against investment criteria, so your written criteria and screening note format go in./ic-memodrafts an investment committee memo, so it learns your house template. - Connectors. They live in Anthropic's companion financial-analysis plugin: twelve in all, from PitchBook, FactSet and S&P Global to Box and Egnyte. The README notes that "MCP access may require a subscription or API key from the provider." Document stores come first, read-only.
- MNPI rules. One page on what deal data goes in and what never does, then the settings behind it. A thumbs up or down stores the whole conversation for up to 5 years, so chat ratings go off (Privacy Center).
- Training. Sessions on the team's own redacted CIMs, models and memos.
The plugin gives you ten first drafts. A boutique turns them into your firm's skills.
3. Other Places to Get Help
Each route below suits some firms:
- Anthropic's own team and Claude Academy. Buy direct and learn from free courses on Claude Academy, such as Deploying Claude Enterprise with Confidence. Good for a firm with an internal owner who has time to add its own criteria and templates.
- Large consulting firms. Anthropic named KPMG "a preferred partner for private equity" on May 19, 2026. PwC's May 14, 2026 expansion covers deal work for private equity sponsors, and Deloitte and Accenture also have Anthropic alliances. Good for many portfolio companies or countries at once, heavy systems work, or a firm you already use.
- Ode with Anthropic. An enterprise AI services firm that Anthropic, Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman introduced on July 15, 2026, working with mid-sized companies across sectors. Worth a call when the work sits at mid-sized portfolio companies.
- Building it in-house. Good when someone already owns AI, with protected hours and comfort in the admin console and GitHub.
Side by side, a boutique and a large firm:
Fits when: you want people who already know CIMs, IC memos and LP DDQs, a published price and training on your own deal material.
Watch for: a small bench. Ask who covers when the lead is away.
Fits when: the work spans many portfolio companies or countries, needs heavy systems integration, or goes to a firm you already use.
Watch for: whether a firm your size gets the senior people from the pitch.
Size the partner to the job.
4. How to Vet a Boutique
Ask for four things before you sign:
- Proof of work in week one. Give them three redacted CIMs under NDA and your written criteria. By the end of week one of a paid pilot, an adapted
/screen-dealshould score all three in your screening note format. - Who does the work. Names, hours a week and cover when the lead is away.
- A fixed price. One number for a defined scope, in writing, with licenses and data subscriptions excluded. Ask whether the firm resells licenses or takes referral fees.
- The MNPI rules in writing. The one-page deal-data rule and a dated record of every setting changed.
Three redacted CIMs and one week tell you more than a pitch deck can.
5. What It Costs
Keep two budgets apart: what you pay Anthropic and what you pay the consultant.
Anthropic's pricing page lists Team at $25 a standard seat a month, or $20 billed annually, for 2 to 150 members, and Enterprise at $20 a seat a month billed annually plus usage at API rates, with a 20-seat minimum when bought self-serve. Ten Team seats cost 10 x $20 x 12 = $2,400 a year.
WorkWise Solutions charges fixed fees: $25,000 to $40,000 for the rollout, by firm size up to 150 people, and $12,500 for the Deal Team Intensive. A 10-person firm on Team that buys both spends $39,900 in year one, before support and its own people's time.
The PE cost guide works three budgets line by line, and seats are the cheap part of each.
6. Where to Start
- Write down your screening criteria and IC memo template.
- Redact three CIMs for the week-one test.
- Draft the MNPI rule with your CCO.
- Send the same questions to two or three firms.
- Start a paid pilot with a fixed price and a working skill due in week one.
What happens after you sign is in How to Implement Claude at a Private Equity Firm.
WorkWise Solutions runs the Claude rollout for private equity firms as a fixed-price project: deal-data and MNPI rules, retention settings, connectors to the data room and document stores, a starter skills library with up to three champions to maintain it, and the governance documentation an LP DDQ asks for. It costs $25,000 for firms of 1 to 10 people up to $40,000 for 61 to 150, over three to six weeks; every other fee is on the pricing page. Training runs live online, on the firm's own redacted documents.
Not a fit if you want a partner that resells licenses or puts a large engineering team on site.
"Skills are folders of instructions, scripts, and resources that Claude loads dynamically to improve performance on specialized tasks."

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can help a private equity firm roll out Claude?
WorkWise Solutions, which publishes this guide, is a boutique consultant that rolls out Claude for private equity firms at published fixed prices: $25,000 for firms of 1 to 10 people up to $40,000 for 61 to 150, plus a $12,500 Deal Team Intensive on the firm's own redacted deal material. Other routes are Anthropic's own team and its free Claude Academy courses; large firms such as KPMG, which Anthropic named a preferred partner for private equity, PwC, Deloitte and Accenture; Ode with Anthropic for mid-sized companies; or an internal owner.
Is a boutique or a large firm better for a Claude rollout at a mid-sized fund?
For one firm's deal team, a boutique usually fits: senior people who already work with CIMs, IC memos and LP DDQs, a fixed price for a defined scope, and training on the fund's own redacted documents. Ask how deep its bench is. A large firm fits when the work spans many portfolio companies or countries, needs heavy systems integration, or goes to a firm the fund already uses; ask who staffs it day to day. Judge either one on a working skill built on your own redacted CIMs in week one.
What should a Claude consultant build for a deal team first?
A screening skill. Anthropic's private equity plugin includes /screen-deal, which screens an inbound CIM or teaser against a fund's investment criteria. A consultant should rewrite it around your written criteria and screening note format, then test it on three redacted CIMs. Next comes a first draft of the IC memo in your house template, adapted from /ic-memo, with every figure tied to a source document. Both should read files through read-only connectors, and a deal team member checks every number.
